purchased the earrings as well. love the large
emerald shaped center stone surrounded
by delicately placed rounds. mixed yellow/white
metals add to the vintage look. much more lovely
in person; is a beautiful ring which elongates the
finger. tastefully done large stone ring!

I think that Xavier is outdoing themselves lately with their new styles that reproduce classics from the 40's & 50's. I guess I forget how long ago that is (showing my age) but younger women will appreciate the opportunity to own these beautiful styles. I have one problem with this particular ring in that I think it should have been set a bit higher - a tad more gallery. The Emerald cut is marvelous (why don't we see more? Please give us more- esp. of the 11 x 9 mm dimension) but it is set so low that if you have any swelling of your finger, the underside of the stone touches your finger and gets hazy with lotion etc. An emerald cut stone (esp. a step cut one- really needs to be kept clean and free of oils and lotions. This Victorian style is a stunner nevertheless. I've seen similar rings in antique jewelers for many thousands of dollars. I hope Xavier brings out more Victorian and 40's & 50's styles. Thanks HSN & Xavier

Of all the orders and all the returns; my dream ring is finally here!! This stone is BEAUTIFULLY cut and had to be from VERY fine rough..It looks JUST LIKE A DIAMOND!!! And most don't....
I opened the box and immediately ordered a stand-by; just in case. I have recently liquidated most of my jewelry due to the economy BUT; thanks to HSN designers, Xavier and Jean Dousset no-one knows!! The vermeil on the ring looks just like 14kt gold.
LOVE IT !!!!!
