Wet your appetite for accessories with this Jay King Red-Brown Aventurine Sterling Silver Graduated Bead Necklace. Rondelle-shaped, red-brown color aventurine beads (approx. 6x3 to 23x19mm) boldly graduate larger towards the front of the necklace. Each end of the strand is finished with a sterling silver cap.

Note: This necklace is strung on tiger tail (steel wire that has been coated with nylon), which is used for stringing heavy beads. The excess wire, or extra length of wire, is left to allow the beads to move freely.

Still beautiful...but.. / , WA

I ordered this necklace for my sisters birthday also assuming that while it didn''t look a bright red in the picture that it would be on the red side as described. When I received it the necklace was exactly right except for the color. It is most definitely more brown than red. I thought about sending it back but she also loves browns so I gave it to her anyway. She absolutely loved it and loved the color so it turned out great but if you want a red bead necklace this is not the one for you.

I ordered the strawberry aventurine and was unhappy to see that it was brownish and definitely not red. In fairness to Mr. King, I have received some beautiful items from him, but not this one. I send it back.

HSN You should have stopped selling this necklace as red if you were getting complaints from customers about the color not being red. I too ordered this necklace and was very disappointed to see that it was brown. I was watching the show today and your host is still claiming that this is a red color which is not true.Jay shame on you for not making a change to the description as a brown color not red..

The necklace is very nice and I kept it. But it is brown without a hint of red. It is very irritating to see that HSN continues to advertise this item with a photo that makes the necklace appear quite red.

Necklace is well made, but not for me. I thought it would be red like in the picture. It was brown. I am not a brown lover. Sometimes I order to see if a piece will suit a fashion need of mine. This lovely necklace I returned.
