This is a nicely finished, heavy ring. However, the crystal in the ring I received was a rather lifeless amethyst color and didn't even come close to the sparkle from a big Swarovski - or that of any Austrian crystal for that matter. I just wasn't impressed with this ring. Maybe for $25 it might be okay. Borderline klunker, in my opinion. The show host described the color of the crystal as "tanzanite," as the web pic herewith also shows (although the web description is accurate). This is amethyst, not tanzanite. But it's a pale amethyst, almost rose de france, with no life, at least for me.

I just received this ring a few minutes ago. This ring is AMAZING! The color of the stone is gorgeous. This is a really bold ring, which is what I was looking for. I have a ton of stainless steel jewelry. It's so affordable and I never have to worry about it tarnishing. If you are thinking about getting this ring, think no more. GET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
