An oval dyed yellow mother-of-pearl cabochon (approx. 23.5x16.5mm) is stationed atop a rectangular carved mother-of-pearl (approx. 35.5x25mm) capturing the graceful cantor of a horse. A white mother-of-pearl rectangle (approx. 23.5x16.5mm) and a pear-shaped yellow mother-of-pearl drop (approx. 19x14.5mm) completes the look.

Interesting piece / Ff, MD4/21/2008 This is a very nice, substantial and different pedant.I like the large bail but the hinge and locking mechanism are fragile.
P.S. - I think that''s a trot, not canter.
Too Much Yellow Mother of Pearl for Me / Susan, CA4/21/2008 This is a nicely designed pendant. However, the majority of the mother-of-pearl is in the yellow tone, rather than white. There is only one rectangle piece on this pendant that is all white MOP. Also, one piece of MOP on the reverse side has a big chip on it, so I am concerned that it could peel or break. I am sending it back.
Exotic Equine Pendant! / KAT, WA3/26/2008 Nice clean design, lovely horse carving in neutral colors that are easy to wear. Would look great on leather, white pearls or citrine gemstone strand. Nicely finished & really like the opening bail for easy change on/off strands.
