silver disc was inspired by a coin of the United East India Company—the Dutch
government that managed trade in the Netherlands East Indies. The open back
of the table reveals the underside of the replicated coin which bears a
Dutch coat of arms.

My Favorites / , IA5/19/2008 I don''t know what the last reviewer is talking about. The coins look real to me and the ring and the pendant are the same size. The ring is big but it looks awesome on and isn''t too heavy. I''ve gotten lots of compliments on it. I love the pendant too. It is great alone or layered with other necklaces.

Expected a "genuine" coin, but was diappointed with how Fake it looks.

The pendant can be worn on a bangle bracelet or hoop or charm bracelet. Love the fact it opens so you can put it on a necklace or bracelet. The ring is very substanial looking on your hand.
