The starfish and shell transition beautifully onto the band itself..not just placed ON the band...actually a smooh transition. I really luv the size..clor of sterling and the weight is hefty but not uncomfortable. Just know that this one runs about a half size smaller than normal as another reviewer pointed out.Order larger or you will be disappointed. This piece is a silver lovers dream..
Beautiful all-around ring / Susan, CA6/19/2008 I agree with the other reviewers that found this ring runs small. I wear a size 5 ring finger and couldn''t get it on my right hand. So now it''s on my smaller left ring finger. I love the little bit of oxidation in the crevices of the shell and startfish as it highlights the texture. It''s very glove friendly and will not catch on clothing, making it a wear-all-the-time piece.
Love This Big Beauty / Bera, PA6/11/2008 This ring has substantial silver weight, is beautifully wrought and is generally just awesome. However, it may overpower smaller fingers (I wear an 8-9), and I think it runs a bit small, perhaps a half size. I do not think this is an everyday ring because it is rather wide east-west. Love the starfish, love the shell, which could also symbolize Infinity. Totally a way cool beach ring! Love it.
