not as expected / Pat, NJ6/11/2008 Loved the ring design--the setting, that is. But the stone is too small to balance the "weight" of the setting --or maybe even a darker colored stone would do it. I certainly don''t see it "art-deco". I see it as very modern.

Just a lovely ring if you''re looking for a big pale stone, nicely cut to sparkle and shown off in a different setting that you just don''t see every day. I''m really surprised to like this ring so much! Good price, too.

I feel the designer did not use a "brighter" stone as that would take away from the look she wanted in featuring the flow of the setting. It looks like a kunzite or a pink diamond and is very soft and feminine. I am thrilled and will treasure this piece. It''s a real find! Just georgeous! I will be looking for more pieces from this talented designer!
