Disappointed / , IL9/19/2007 I just received - and returned - these earrings. I felt the amethysts were very pale and didn''t stand out from the surrounding silver. They just didn''t look like $169 earrings. Perhaps if the amethysts were better quality and had some color saturation they would have made a more favorable impression because the size and style of the earring overall was quite nice. Too bad.
