beautiful ring...But....

This ring is really beautiful. I should have
ordered the ruby,but I ordered the saffire which
showed a beautiful blue on tv. when I received
mine, it was also beautiful,but the blue saffire
was so dark. it looked black. Disappointed, I
sent it back. I'll keep trying, I guess until I find
my really blue,beautiful saffire at a reasonable
price. Thank you .

Lovely setting, disappointing stone

The silver & marcasite setting is gorgeous, but the stone looked nothing like the vibrant blueberryish color on screen: it is very similar to lapis and not sapphire, a dull, solid blue. Also, the facets had visible scratches on them. I will only keep it because returns are a hassle, the setting is great, and it looks like lapis to match my lapis jewelry.

i got this one in the ruby, and its a deep cherry red, just beautiful with the marcasite, wonderful workmanship. even though its big, its not over the top, very elegant looking on the hand. i'm really picky about my jewerly, but as soon as i opened up the box, i fell in love, hope u bring more of this kind of jewerly. cant beat the price either.
