It is short at 17" but I just added my own extender chain. The colors on the one I got are beautiful, although the rutiles aren''t noticeable in some of the beads--nature isn''t always perfect. Still I love the necklace, wear it often, and would love an 8" bracelet and some earrings to match.

I also got it as a one time deal only. The necklace I received did have a variation of colors, but with the best 2 colors strung at the top !. If you normally do not fit a 16" necklace DO NOT order this because there is no extender and it''s barely 17" at best.

I wasn''t sure about this necklace, it''s okay, feels nice but it''s just oval rocks in different shades. However I''ve had a silver enhancer pendant (moonstone, fossil, ruby, black star sapphire)in my jewelry box for years...this necklace brought it to life. I wore it shopping and anytime a gentleman stops me to tell me how beautiful my necklace is...well, I know it''s a keeper. By the way, the Clever Clasp will hold it cuz of the locking mechanism...
