I loved the character and rich red color of the corundum, and rose vermeil was an excellent setting choice. Some excess dye did come out when I cleaned the ring in mild soap and water. Also, the stone loosened in the setting twice in two days. It's a very comfortable ring with a nice undergallery. Because of the width of the band, it fits about 1/4 size small. For me, it's going back only because I can't justify the full price. I would consider repurchasing at a discount.

This ring is gorgeous but it is so untrue to size it ridiculous. I will send it back and go up 2 sizes and hope that will work because I really like the ring even though I think it is a bit over priced.

I knew exactly what to expect when it said red corundum and I love the ring. It is very opaque and so there is no "glitz" or sparkle but I think it it makes a lovely assertive statement regardless of whether you wear it on the index, confidence or ring finger! It's definitely a keeper for me!!

four stars is only because of the price compared to other red corundum with vermeil rings. But the moment I put it on it is one of those super comfy rings that just works.
