I was so excited to order this ring. Then I open up the box... What a disappointment! The ring shows as being clear and bright in the picture. It was muddy and dull. The reviews I read about it are all true. It's going back.

EVEN AFTER READING THE PREVIOUS REVIEWS I WAS COMMITTED TO RESERVING JUDGEMENT. ODDLY ENOUGH I THOUGHT IF ANYTHING THE CENTER CABACHON ON THE AQUA CHALCEDONY MIGHT NOT BE UP TO SNUFF BUT TO MY SURPRISE THE STONE WAS GLOWINGLY BEAUTIFUL. THAT IS NOT WHERE MY ISSUE LIES. UNFORTUNATELY I CANNOT GET PAST THE OTHER STONES. ALTHOUGH THEY ARE PRONG SET, THE METAL WORK UNDERNEATH OVERLAPS HALFWAY UNDER EACH OF THE STONES WHICH GIVES THEM A VERY MUDDY APPEARANCE WHICH DETRACTS FROM THE OVERALL WOW FACTOR OF THE CENTER STONE. IT UPSETS ME BECAUSE AS I SAID THE CENTER CHALCEDONY IS BEAUTIFUL. I HAVE TO WEIGH THE COST OF THE RING THAT IS GOING TO BOTHER ME EVERY TIME I LOOK AT IT AND SAY IF ONLY.... VERSUS HOW MUCH I LOVE THE CENTER STONE, I THINK I'M LEANING TOWARD THIS ONE GOING BACK. (SIGH) SO SAD :-(

Hello Carol,
Hope you are reading the review of your jewelry as you say you do. This ring was extremely disappointing. The center stone was turquoise in color not chalcedony and also the side stones had no life to them.Needless to say it is going back. Many of us look forward to sophisticated design, details and the most selected stones that your expertise can bring us. This was very disappointing. Hope that you will strive harder to bring more detailed jewelry and quality stones that are the color that we expect and know.

My ring arrived and while the workmanship was decent on this ring, the main cabochon was NOT gem-quality, like it claims to be... when chalcedony has the look of the one in the online video, it tends to look like it is glowing... mine would be called more of a dirty green color, or brownish green. It is NOT an aqua color at all. Save your money, skip this item!

My first impression of the ring was negative & I
was all set to send it back because it blended in
with my skin color & didn't pop as I'd expected. The color is a soft peach rather than the darker
color as pictured. I've had this happen before with jewelry purchased online from HSN & prefer to
see the items live on TV when possible for a more accurate portrayal. I've decided to keep the ring as I was able to purchase a Peach Moonstone earring & necklace set from HSN. Since the ring's stones are all dyed anyway, they easily should have been uniformly identical to the picture online.
