This necklace before sale was way to expensive and glad I waited. When I finally got it, I understand why it is so expensive. The 4 bezel set smoky quartz inside each circle then linking all of them up is just intensive labor work. But, I have to bend some of those oval-shape circles back into perfect circles. I am not sure how that happened to have those oval shape circles, since TV looks all perfect circles together. Still, too pretty to pass this one up.

Great Design But No Substance... Bessamer, NV Rating 3/3/2012
This is one of Carol's unique, striking and outstanding designs. The detail and the stones are great. For these aspects I gave it 3 stars. However if falls short on sturdiness. The metal is so thin and pliable that it could be bent out of shape with just a bit of pressure. Some links were stretched into ovals from the weight of the necklace. I can't recommend this piece even at the clearance price. It's just too fragile to last.

As with other reviewers, I too liked the design but wasn't crazy about the execution. It makes a cheap tinny sound when the necklace moves and the metals touch each other. Silver and smoky quartz are both inexpensive materials and do not warrant a price close to $1000 with tax and shipping. Would have kept for about forty percent or so of the regular price.
