Pretty but poorly made / jade, NY

The stones are lovely, - hard, clear, smooth, gorgeous color. The design is beautiful. But they are not well made. I ordered 1 pair in Green and 1 in Rose. The hinge on one Green earring arrived broken off, and the hinge on the other earring was dented. The Rose pair looked just as fragile. Plus they are uncomfortably heavy. Great concept, poor execution. Back they go.

Before ordering these earrings in green, I read all the reviews but decided to order anyway because of the green color. Well, I''m glad I did. The green is a beautiful shade and definitely a different shade/color than any of my other green earrings. They go well with my green quartz jewelry. Well, since then I''ve also gotten the smoky quartz. Yes, these earrings are heavier than I am used to but the trade off is that these earrings are in a "different" shade than what is usually available.

I ordered the smoky quartz and they arrived in perfect condition, however, they were thick and heavy and the weight pulled my earlobe down. The concept is beautiful, but the earring is too large for the weight of the natural stone. With regret, I had to return the item.

I ordered the earrings in the lemon quartz and they were very pretty, but uncomfortably heavy for me. Of course that''s to be expected, since they''re large pieces, carved of genuine quartz. I really wish I could keep them, because they''re very pretty, but my ears just can''t support them.

I received the smokey quartz earrings tonight. They were pretty, if a bit heavy. But one of the earrings had no back back clasp finding at all. There was nothing for the post to clip in to. The piece wasn''t even in the bag. These will be going back.
