WOW!! Quite a stunning design....I tried to talk myself out of ordering this ring as I already have about 4 of Nicky's ruby rings, but in the end, I didn't listen & ordered & I'm very glad I did. The design is quite eye catching & unusual with the ruby's color popping out. The pear shaped side stones with their points facing inwards add to the drama of the design with the circular garnets filling the space between. PERFECT!! My rubies are flawless, for which I'm very thankful as I would have been very disappointed otherwise. The only thing I regret is that I deemed it large enough that I ordered it for my middle finger & I was wrong as it would have been perfect for my ring finger which feels a bit bare when it's the one lacking a ring.

Black/grey tinge on every facet edge of center ruby stone, weird, ruby didn't shine, looked dull. Everything else was great NB quality, back it goes. #649

Very beautiful ring. Sadly, I had to return it because the central stone, the big Ruby, was irregular in color. It had a big, dark spot, too visible and not pretty at all. I may order another one, to see if I am luckier. However, I do feel that in a case like this, where product does not meet specifications, the cost of return shipping should be refunded.
