I was really looking forward to this necklace, as I love Moonstone. The beads were so small that any coloring would be lost. I would like to see something like this only with a larger mm bead.
No rainbow

Only 5 beads in the necklace can be called rainbow moonstone. The rest of the beads are dull. I charged my necklace in sun before using it.
Perfect for layering or with a pendant

I was afraid to order this for a long time because of the reviews but decided to take a chance since I had the perfect pendant to pair it with. It works great for that purpose. The beads have a bluish sheen to them, and I am pleased with my purchase!

The beads were smaller than I would have liked; however, this necklace could be worn in the same manner as a string of pearls. Simple, but as beautiful as any string of moonstones could be. You get the rainbow affect when it reflects sunlight or lamplight. I feel it was worth forty dollars rather than the sixty dollars I paid. A moonstone pendant would do it justice.

The beads are mainly white with little sheen. I expected a higher polish which may have allowed some of that pretty rainbow of color to shine through which wouldhave matched my pendant. It was too late to return, so I kept the necklace and use it with a pendant that is NOT moonstone.
