About Nicky Butler sterling silver jewelry... Jewelry designer Nicky Butler delivers creative sterling silver and gemstone jewelry with a global flair. His unique designs have a decidedly multi-cultural feel, as if each were a one-of-a-kind creation, plucked from the collection of an obscure artisan in some mysterious, faraway marketplace. These gallery-worthy designs combine multiple gemstones with antique-style settings and other unique finishes, for a look you won’t find anywhere else. Collect them all!
About stabilized turquoise... Moisture, skin oils and environmental factors can change the color of turquoise jewelry if left untreated. But stabilizing turquoise helps preserve the stone's normal color. Natural, mined turquoise nuggets are heated at a very low temperature for about a week, slowly drawing out moisture without damaging the texture. The stones are then placed into acrylic or polymer chemicals to replace water molecules. This stabilizes the stone and keeps its beauty and value intact.

Drop dead gorgeous! / Laura, WA5/28/2008 I just received the ruby version of this enhancer and I''m SO glad that I ordered it. Where do I start? The stones are clear, beautiful and compliment the ruby perfectly. I love opaque ruby...and this one''s color is to die for! Now maybe some opaque ruby earrings, Nicky? Pretty please?
Mixed feelings... / Lori F., TX5/27/2008 I got this in tourquoise and it''s beautiful, I know I''m probably nutty for what I''m going to say, but the very bottom of the design, there is a small circle on the left (an element throughout the piece) and an elongated oval (also an element of the piece) on the right and then a teardrop underneath... this looks and feels unbalanced to me. I''d of preferred two circles OR two ovals just above that final teardrop!!! Since I have his cross in this exact color scheme, I''ll be sending it back.
