Having "just one of those days"? Nicky Butler's playful
gemstone and sterling silver moth ring will
sprinkle your hours with mood-elevating color.
The ring's vibrant stabilized turquoise, garnet, moonstone, iolite and
blue topaz cabochons are bezel set to create its stylized moth
form. A dazzling color-shifting oval of drusy quartz (approx.
10x12mm) offers this fun piece a sense of lightness and movement. In a
continuation of that theme, light glides whimsically across the wisp
of silver forming the moth's antennae. Polished and oxidized to
a multitonal sterling silver, the ring will flutter its way to a
place amongst your favorite pieces. Additional details of this jewel and
silver moth ring include:

Love the Bug! / Carol, NY6/23/2008 Just got the ring and it has to be one of my Nicky Butler favorites! Very stiking and huge. I like the slightly included moonstone wings - they look more like real moth wings. I have very long fingers, so it''s comfortable; however, it might be too big for small hands. The garnets are much more intense than the photo shows.
matching of stones4/6/2008 This is a great ring but on the one I received the two blue (topaz?) stones - small ones at top - do not match. I reordered hoping to get one with a better match, but wondered if anyone else had experienced this?
More moth rings, please / Sylvia1/8/2008 I have purchased a Butler drusi bracelet and drusi earrings that are so outrageously gorgeous that I am ashamed to wear them for fear that all will think I am flaunting my (non-existent) wealth. However this ring had to be returned. One of the moonstone wings was badly flawed. Also, bad sizing--the size 7 I ordered was in reality a size 6. But I beg Nicky to make more moth rings. With Nicky''s sizing I would need an 8 and hopefully the moonstone will be free of flaws.
Pleasantly surprised but ... / T, TN5/3/2007 I love this ring and was pleasantly surprised after receiving it. It is very eye-catching. The only thing I don''t like is that the big glittery stone at the very bottom is not smoother. It looks good but when you view it from the side, it has dips and humps in it. Is it supposed to look like this?
Great Ring2/27/2007 This ring is definately a show stopper. And I thought I knew it would be rather large when I ordered it. But nothing prepared me for when I saw it. It is HUGE and gorgeous.
