Stone is not very natural in appearnce, sort of like a bluish amethyst. Was hoping for more of an iolite look. The flat/sqare edges of setting just weren't very practical for me, seemed to catch on things.

I like the style, the stone's color... wish was a bit smaller... but, is not too big. It's simple w/a lot of class, a delicate silver work. Nicky, maybe you make more rings on a smaller scale... I am looking for a ring that would incorporate peridot, sapphire and maybe garnet, nobody, for some reason, mixes those stones in one piece... and it has an emotional significance for me. It's always tomorrow... somebody might!

My recent gemstone-ring experiences have been consistently disappointing. The reason: the gemstone shown on TV and presented in photographs online bears no resemblance to the gemstones in the rings sent to me. If I see a rich purple gemstone on HSN, I expect to get a rich purple gemstone in the ring I get. It's bait and switch. If vendors can't offer consistent color in the packet of gems they will use in the rings sold, then HSN should refuse the vendors' items. Nice design inferior gem.

I wanted this ring for about a month but decided to wait. I'm so glad I finally bought it. It is beautiful. If you love big or chunky rings, this is a must have. I love the purple coloring in the stone & it is very sparkly. I received compliments on it the first day I wore it. I ordered it a size larger than my ring finger & I'm wearing it on my middle finger. It looks great!

But mine has not enough blue violet color at all. It's more of an amethyst look with not enough color saturation. I'll give it a try and see what others say about it.
