Received a shipment of four Nicky Butler pieces, these earrings being one of them. I'm a first-time buyer of Nicky's jewelry and I have to say his work is exotic, colorful and well-made. These earrings are just the right size to be noticeable but not so big that they're bulky. If one likes jewelry with an antique Victorian look done with a modern spin from the exotic Far East, then you'll like Nicky Butler. The pair of earrings I got look just like the photo. One of my Nicky Butler pieces is from the Raj Collection, and I'm wondering what differentiates Raj from the rest of Nicky's line. Is it the limited numbered editions? I'm also curious about what Drusy Quartz is. It looks so strange and different, have never seen it before until I saw it here at HSN.

I was worried when I ordered these that they would be too small. I find many of Nicky's earrings are either too light or too weighty. But happily, these fall into the 'just right' category. The stones are very high quality and the faceting on the smoky is pretty breathtaking. Also impressive is the silver work on the bottom 'sunburst' portion. I'm so glad I took a chance. My only issue; they turn to the side, not the front when on your ear, so you don't get a head on view unless you twist them just so. But I can happily live with that. FIVE STARS!!
