Turquoise Sterling Silver Cuff Bracelet. A "half circle" of stabilized
Nako turquoise (approx. 20x28mm) is bezel-set atop a polished sterling
silver cuff. The etched criss-cross pattern is highlighted with an oxidized
finish.
About stabilized turquoise... Moisture, skin oils and environmental factors can change the color of turquoise jewelry if left untreated. But stabilizing turquoise helps preserve the stone's normal color. Natural, mined turquoise nuggets are heated at a very low temperature for about a week, slowly drawing out moisture without damaging the texture. The stones are then placed into acrylic or polymer chemicals to replace water molecules. This stabilizes the stone and keeps its beauty and value intact.

LOVE THE SIZE / Marilyn, CA5/9/2008 I wear it flat side of turquoise against 2 coil cuffs on my arm. I find it to be extremely comfortable, doesn''t CLUNK on my desk, and I love that it sits right against my bracelets because of the flat side. I got ALL of these pieces and think it is a marvelous set!!
ALSO VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!! / Colleen, PA11/7/2007 Very small compared to the magnificent necklace. Needed to be much larger. I have many, many pieces of Jay''s jewelry but his bracelets seem to be of lesser quality than in the past. Very thin & flimsy silver bands with a stone plopped on top.
DISSAPOINTED / , FL10/30/2007 My stone had way too much gray and black in it...not enough blue to brighten it up. The design on the silver is stunning but the stone should be the focus and mine was not very pretty.
Soooo disappointed!10/13/2007 Was expecting a gorgeous piece. Silver work seemed thin and flimsy; not to Jay''s usual standards. The stature of the piece was not large enough to be worn as part of the suite with necklace. Silverwork and stone needed to be more substantial.
Fabulous10/12/2007 I just got this entire set (necklace, cuff, earrings) and it is fantastic. Jay surpassed my expectations once again! This collection is beautiful especially the necklace. Great workmanship and the quality can''t be beat.
