Yes, these are somewhat heavy, but they feel substantial and well-made. They also have a modern look to them with the square cut stones. Don't be afraid to try them.

I got these a few weeks ago and loved them. Unfortunately, I could not open the clasp on one of them. I tried so hard that I nearly broke a nail so I did not persist because I just knew I would break the earring so I had to send them back. But, before doing so I called to see if they had anymore in stock and they did not so I couldn't get another pair but I certainly would have.

Marcasite by nature is heavy and set in silver even heavier. Nice looking but needed in smaller hoop size. Sadly returning them.
