I understand that the finish on this ring might be different from what silver buyers are accustomed to however, I like the look. Presenters and the online description should have emphasized that the silver can best be described as a brushed nickel or pewter finish that is clearly intentional. The rim of the band is not at all the "silk fit" style and definitely has a straight edge but mine is smooth and does not catch or scratch. I do recommend sizing up because of the edge and the fact that the silver is thick and the shank does not taper much. For those who wish to keep the ring, try pairing it with a simple band and put the band on first, nearest the hand. If this ring is ever presented again the manufacturer should definitely round the edges of the band for a more comfortable fit. My stone is perfect and the checkerboard cut reflects light onto the bezel giving the illusion that the setting face is faceted as well.

I think the blue topaz stone was beautiful, but as with the other rings in this collection that I received the underside had sharp edges and I could not wear it. I can't imagine anyone making a ring that was so uncomfortable - something went wrong somewhere.

I received my ring that I ordered in my normal size but the ring is a size too small.
The stone is beautiful 5 stars, but the setting is not for me so I will return it for a refund.

I was so disappointed when I received this ring due to the finish of the supposed sterling silver. I actually got out a magnifying glass to look for the .925 on the inside of the ring to be sure it was sterling silver. To be honest, I wasn't sure I found it. It seriously looks like brushed stainless steel, which cheapens the look of the ring. I don't think it's worth the $136.00. The stone is gorgeous though. That's the only thing that's keeping me undecided as to whether to send it back.

This ring is a major disappointment. It is dull silver, rustic-looking, not at all polished-looking. The matte finish and the little silver balls on the side irritated the sides of my fingers and they are crudely constructed, making it look like an amateur jewelry maker concocted it at the workbench! Such a shame to do this to the beautifully rich-looking London blue topaz stone! The shape reminds me of a David Yurman inspired ring, but the finish is disappointing.
