I am rarely dissappointed by Jay King's pieces but unfortunately this necklace was dissapointing. The shape of the beads is unique, the length is great, but the color on the beads was a very dull brown, not the pink-red berry hues I expected after seeing the presentation and the photos on the website. I am still debating whether I should exchange or return it. It seems that others have been happy with the coloration so I may give it a try and order a replacement.

The detail and bead graduation is lovely. This is a piece to hold in your hands and feel the cool weight of the stones against your neck. The color is soft summer berries on a warm summer day. It is heavy. If this is a concern, do not buy. If you want yet another work of art from Jay King's staff, order this before it's gone.

This is a beautiful piece, with the mineral beads all carved in nice swirls. It could be a little lighter in weight, but I would not send it back for that small problem.

the workmanship in this necklace is awesome. The carved rhodonite beads are exceptional and so is the color. It's a bit too heavy for my neck and it over powers me, so I am sending it back. I just wish it were a little bit smaller. Anybody who likes big bold beads and weight to their jewelry, will love this one.
