Despite the low price, these earrings are not worth it. They're much smaller than they appear on TV and the stone color is not consistent. DON'T BOTHER.

The earrings I received match the carnelian I have in a Jay King necklace I already owned previously and are a beautiful color. Definitely bigger than a frozen pea and well matched.

Mine are well worth the price and I will definitely be keeping.

I just received my earrings and was a bit surprised. First I liked the size. Most of his earrings are way to large for me. I do think that they look more like lucite instead of stone. The color is good for fall, a brownish red. I will keep because of the size and color.

Well, unlike the other reviewers, I really like these earrings. Mine are bigger than a frozen pea but they are not the size of the beads on the necklace. But think about it, if earrings were as big as the beads on the necklace they would look horrible on the ear!! I have worn earrings with the matching necklace and I have received many complimemnts. Luck of the draw, my earrings are the same color as the illustration (and, if you have Paul Deasy's book, the same color as its carnelian gem illustration). It is often helpful to rough out the given dimensions on paper first, to see if it is going to be what you want. I find these are just enough, go with a lot, and are comfortable. The clutches fit really tight, which is my only drawback. I feel the price is reasonable, but could be lower, as the only silver is in the post and clutch.
