What a disappointment this cameo was. We were expecting the best but unfortunately, the top of the cameo was rough -- you could actually feel a tiny rut and it arrived it a very cheap cardboard box. Very poor presentation for gift giving!!! Sadly, it went back. This is the second cameo we have had to return, so we will wait a while to see if new stock comes in.

I am so thrilled with this cameo. I went to an online Italian jeweler and they wanted $900 for a similar piece. The carving on this is beautiful. There is enough gold, of course, there can never be enough, but this piece is "bellissima"!

I bought this for my mom and was disappointed in the amount of gold left out of this substantial size of a cameo. The bail is not large enough to put on an omega, in which my mom wears alot. The cameo is beautiful but Amedeo please DO NOT skimp on the bail on the larger pieces.

The piece showcases a bezel-set oval cornelian (approx. 40mm) surrounded by a gold Roman frame. The stone displays the handcarved profiles of two women standing side-by-side. The woman in the forefront wears a floral cap with falling strands of hair caressing her shoulders. Flowers accent at the bottom of the stone for a feminine touch.
