Unfolding petal by petal, a handcarved rose blooms in the center of this sardonyx oval (approx. 30x23mm). Round cultured freshwater pearls (approx. 4-5mm) blossom on the side of the gold frame, in which the cameo is bezel-set.

Mine was great / Linda #2, NJ7/10/2008 I received my rose last month and it is another treasure for my growing collection. It is everything I expected in a well carved sardonyx cameo. Each of these pieces are individual art works so even the same design will not be identical. They come from a natural material so just from that they will certainly have some differences. Take the chance and grab one of the last ones - it is a great bargain.
Well.....? / Linda, NJ5/19/2008 I have to agree with the previous reviews. I sent mine back. The rose was a tan color on the brown and did not make for much contrast. It didn''t have the graceful lovely look like the picture. I have quite a few of the HSN cameos.
Not the Same as Online Picture / Beryl, FL2/28/2008 I had pondered for a long time about buying this pin. I finally decided to order. I was so disappointed when I opened the box, the pendant did not look like the online picture. It was smaller and the workmanship was just ok. I packed it up and sent it back the next day. I could not justify paying almost $500.00 for something that was just ok.
not the same as in the online picture / sa, SC10/5/2007 had to send back the first one I got; poor workmanship; the replacement is nice, but not as nice as featured in the picture at all. I have wanted a cameo for a while and will likely keep it now, but too expensive for the quality I got, maybe the other reviewers got lucky, which I have learned can vary quite a bit at HSN. again, not like the picture...
Simply Stunning! / , OR8/7/2007 This cameo is just gorgeous. I was overwhelmed when I opened it. There is something so elegant yet simple about a rose. Even though you can wear this cameo with anything, the sardonyx shell is especially beautiful with all the browns that are so popular right now. I also bought the Everyday Gold Dual Glitter Necklace which looks stunning with the cameo. It just doesn''t get more beautiful than this.
