This is the first HD piece I have ordered - and it won't be the last!!! This necklace makes a stunning statement no matter your taste. It goes with everything (I have not taken it off since I have received it). Unlike the other unfortunate recepients (please read other reviews), I have not had a problem with the clasp - in fact it is the easiest in my jewel box! Ladies, we all now how are partners moan and complain how long it takes for us to get ready, well it is because they have no idea how fiddly jewerly can be to put in place to complete a look - you will not have an issue with this piece! I have received numerous compliments with this necklace and recommend it to everyone - a true classic, you will want this in your collection.

Lovely necklace but I agree with some of the others. The clasp is to hard to open and without my husband being there to open for me and possibly break it, well I just did not want to take the chance. Unfortunately returning it.

Thanks for this beautiful n/l. Hope for some more + smaller pierced e/r's that are a l-7/8" like Blooming Passion (pierced), & 2" like Passionite Bloom (pierced). Love Heidi's jewelry but I don't want to get lost in big jewelry but I luv it all. Fun Jewelry! Smaller wrists 6-1/2" lov them. Just received the necklace & wore it today. Have other Black Diamond pieces by Heidi and love'em all! Wish this one had an extender so it could be worn over turtlenecks. How about "smap-in" extenders, in 2, 3, and 5 inches that could be put together to wear as a bracelet or used to extend the necklace? Like other reviews, the "snap-in" clasp is difficult, but the "cracked egg" technique really works.

Well, I must say that after reading the other reviews I am shocked. I think this is a beatiful necklace and the clasp works fine. The stones are incredible and the actual "drop" is perfectly proportioned to the piece. I love it!!!!!
A friend thought it was an authentic deco piece...and that's quite a compliment.

A centralized drop showcases a shield-like design with a bezel-set, oval black diamond-color crystal in the center. A backdrop of geometric metalwork twinkles elegantly with a starscape of pavé-set, round black diamond-color crystals. Bezel-set baguette and round black diamond-color crystals stud the design, while a single row of faceted smoky quartz-color glass beads completes the enigmatic piece.
