I looked forward to receiving this with great anticipation. The stones looked so vibrant during the TV presentation, but what I received certainly didn't take my breath away! It was smaller than I anticipated, the "rose" consisted of very small, dull rubies (even in bright and/or sunlight), the total of which was housed in a meager of gold. The ring was top heavy and did not sit upright on the hand. I sent it back -- not pretty and not worth the price by any means!

Worth every penny and I'm very picky. The rubies are the most brilliant color, and the bee is a perfect miniature of the real thing and always brings comments from others. I couldn't be happier with this ring. I wait anxiously for all Palermo shows now.

Whimsical sparkle is all the buzz with this Gem Designs by Palermo Ruby and Diamond 14K "Bee" Ring. Black rhodium-accented, pavé-set, round Thai rubies (approx. 1.25 to 2mm) encrust the table's striking petal metalwork. Bead-set, round white diamonds (approx. 1mm) accent the polished bee shape that lights upon one side of the sparkling rose. 

Note: The white diamonds are graded at HI color (color slightly distinguishable to the trained eye) and I2 clarity (inclusions can be seen under magnification and, in some cases, to the human eye).
