Stone is much darker than the picture / Tricia, FL6/18/2008 This is a pretty ring and feels very comfortable on the hand. There were two things I did not like about this ring. One, the stone is much darker red (too dark) than the picture. Two, because of the large flat surface of the stone, it will be very easy to scratch. The ring I received had two very small scratches already on the top of the stone. I was disappointed that the color was not the really pretty red shown online, so I have sent it back.

It is so beautiful. The whole ring is just the right size. The stone is not gigantic where it can get in your way and be annoying and the diamonds are not too shiny where they look fake. I just love it!
Whenever I am not wearing it, I keep it safe in the box that it came in. If your birthstone is garnet, you need to get this ring!
