I also received 11 mm pearls. These are a pleasant surprise after reading some of these reviews. Good luster, not exactly total round and they do have some pearl "beautymarks" but all in all very nice and look beautiful on. Mine are a nice black color and with the extra 15% off coupon I was able to use, got these for a great price. They are not your $800 Tahitian studs, but for this price, they are excellent. Highly recommend.

I must have been lucky because my earrings are at least 11mm in size. The color is not black but close to it. The earrings match one of the colors in the ring and is a keeper. The luster of each pearl is beautiful and very smooth. I've sent back my share of pearls in the past, but these will stay with my best Tahitian pearls. Ladies, take a chance.

I was so excited to find large Tahitian pearl earrings for such a tremendous price --- well you get what you pay for!! I was so let down when I opened the box because they were average sized. My jeweler measured them at 9.5mm at best and back they went. Honestly, HSN should have better controll. Hope next customer doesn't get the pair I returned!!!

Very disappointed when I received earrings. That is why I gave it a 2 because the color was a dark olive!!!

Purchased the ring and it is a keeper. The pearls in the ring were three different colors and one of the colors were the black.
