the French wire that goes through the piercing of the ear is too thick. When I first tried these on, they felt very uncomfortable. Sorry to say, these are going back; although I do like the style of the earrings itself.

the ear wire is too thick! What was she thinking? I debated on getting the wires replaced because I love her smoky quartz color, but lost interest in doing so. They''d make a nice pendant for those so inclined.

I love the look! Very tailored, simple and expensive looking. Yes, the wire is thicker, but I think it adds to the luxe look.

I was very pleasantly surprised when I opened the box and saw these lovely smoky quartz earrings. They have quite a bit of sparkle for a darker stone, and they are very comfortable in the ear. The ear wire is somewhat thick, but it has to be to properly balance a stone of this size, otherwise it would slip out of your ear. Highly reccomend this!

I love the stones;however, the wires are,too, big. They are not comfortable hanging in the ear. Actually the stones are a little heavy as well, but I wouldn''t wear the earrings but possibly out for the evening, so it wouldn''t matter. I will keep the earrings and probably have another wire placed in the stone. The stones are worth 3 stars.
