Love the stones, but too heavy... eley, MI Rating 12/26/2009
I love the idea of all these natural aquamarine stones and the look is drop dead gorgeous. However, it's just too heavy and I can only wear it for a little while before I have to take it off. And I'm used to wearing big chunky necklaces from Jay King and Studio Barse. But this was triple the weight of my biggest pieces. I would love it if it was in two separate strands. That way I could have the option of wearing less weight at once.

Nice large, chunky aquamarines. Too heavy with both strands - left bad indentations in the back of my neck. I had to remove it after only 30 minutes because of the general neckpain, upper shoulder pain & headache it caused. Also, as both strands are same length, necklace didn't sit well on my neck. I might have kept it if it were versatile and I could have taken the two strands apart and worn each one alone. But as it is, it's not worth money nor the hassle - even at a sale price.

There are two things that would have made me keep this necklace: first, I would have liked it almost twice as long; and secondly,one of the beaded strands should have been a little longer than the other. The fact that both strands are the same length makes them awkwardly bulky on the neck, so I agree that they do not hang well. I sent the necklace back and ordered two longer clear quartz and aquamarine strands that I will put together myself. Please make more with aquamarine stones.

I received this and there was not much cushioning for the stones, which rubbed against eachother the plastic bag this was in. There were several small pieces of stone/crystal in the bag as a result. The chain / clasp did not seem substantial enough for the weight of this piece & I did not like the way it hanged on my neck - I realize it's supposed to be "messy" or uneven, but I just didn't care for it. Back it goes.

This necklace is gorgeous but i have to say the chain is cheap looking.Not sure i will be keeping it as i am afraid it will break in time.
