Didn't work on tough tough or even mild tarnish, quite a disappointment. I offered a few wipes to a friend to try on her jewelry to see if it was just me, but her attempt failed as well. All in all, recommend against this item.

I got this specifically for silver jewelry. I constantly was pulling out a piece of silver jewelry finding it tarnished, and putting it back without wearing. I thought these would be just the thing for a quick cleaning when I was too short on time to pull out the liquid cleaner. It works great for this purpose.
