This is a gorgeous ring. I received it today and could hardly wait to open the box. Dallas Prince is a premier designer and this piece is a classic example of her work. It seems to be difficult to find a relatively large garnet solitaire with good color saturation and life. Many garnet stones are too brown but this piece has it all. It is a classic style, low profile due to the bezel set garnet and the cz's add just enough sparkle to mirror real diamonds.

Exceptional quality, color of stone and beauty but alas I had to return it. While wearing it it rubbed my fingers. Try as I might I couldn't convince myself that the distraction it caused while wearing it didn't exist. Tried for two days and was unwilling to purchase something that I would be uncomfortable wearing.
If you do not mind the discomfort this one is a keeper. Sadly for me I had to send it back.

This ring is very interesting and very well made. Following the recommendations of others, I sized up, and it was not necessary. It now fits loosely on my right hand - but that is alright - you just never know. Garnet is a nice size and nice colour considering when they are bezel set they can be a tad dark -- but the checkerboard faceting definitely helps with the light reflection. Marquisites are set - so that is the only reason I would purchase them. Ring definitely has an antique flavour and the marquisites almost twinkle like diamonds in a gunmetal setting. Very nice.
