Love ring style but not color / Deb, NJ

I love the style of this ring and was hoping to get a ring that was the color of tanzanite. Mine however is the color of a muted amathyst or the purple of an alexandrite that doesn''t change colors. You can see that the stone is a clear color with a purple color on the top. Would have sent the ring back but liked the style. Would like to exchange for a stone more the shade of tanzanite but as I''ve found with past experience there is no guarantee in the color being the same as stated.

This ring is truly elegant. It''s the perfect size for everyday wear--almost, but not quite understated--and the facets sparkle just beautifully. While the center of the stone is a dusky purple, when the light catches the edges, it''s that perfect April-sky-just-after-a-rain shade of tanzanite. I''m very, very pleased!

I bought this for my mother as a personal token for Christmas to let her know how proud of her I am for fighting to beat her breast cancer. I took her outside and gave it to her in the sunlight, so she could see it''s full beauty and she screamed in delight:) I feel it was a great bargain for 7 cts. Sits up high but not so high that you are hitting it on everything. Thanks HSN for a beautiful product and a smile my mother so deserves:)
