I was actually pleasantly surprised when I opened the box and saw beautiful, clear stones glistening up at me - until I saw that a stone was missing. It left quite a hole, so goodness knows how this got past any form of quality control. Obviously had to send the ring back. I would have kept it and worn it loads had a stone not been missing. I did not trust the quality to order a replacement so a refund it was.

Apparently, the magnifying cameras and lights in the studio made it look much larger than it really is in person. I opened the box and was very disappointed. I felt like I needed magnifying glasses to get a better look at it. Also, the dark stones wash out the other ones. It looks almost like the light colored stones are missing. Sorry to say, I will be sending it back.

When I saw the negative reviews, I was concerned. Perhaps I got a different ring--mine looks more like the one presented on-air. It''s true, the darkest stones stand out a little more, but many of the pink and yellow sapphires in my ring had a deep tone, too, so it''s more balanced overall. I like it--I would have preferred that the darkest stones be less so (even saying that, mine are a royal blue, a great shade). But still, a very sparkly ring, esp. for the price!

Disappointment Abounds / Elaine, TX

This ring is an utter disappointment! What you see when you look at it are the five dark blue sappires. All the other stones appear to be missing because their color is so light that they cease to exist. I''m returning this ring immediately. This is the second time I have tried a multitude of sapphires together in a ring and most of the sapphires are too light to show up. There won''t be a third.

What a disappointment!

I decided to order this ring by what I saw on TV. When I saw the picture on the computer, I hoped that what I got was like what I saw on TV, not what was on the computer. On TV, I saw a beautiful ring with bright pastel colors all about the same brightness. On my computer, I saw very light pastels, with a darker blue color. The actual ring has extremely pale, almost clear, pastel colors except for the blue stones, which are so dark they look black. Setting also looks cheap. Back it goes.
