Mined in the Casas Grandes region of Mexico, and hand-stamped by jewelry artisans, this Jay King Banded Rhyolite Sterling Silver "Casas Grandes" Pendant and Beaded 4-Row Necklace is a true find! Freeform banded rhyolite (approx. 22x35mm) is bezel-set in sterling silver that glistens with rope-textured trim. Four strands of round banded rhyolite beads (approx. 4mm) are finished with sterling silver end caps.

Timeless Smokey Piece / Kchild, MT

This is not the biggest Jay King on the block, but it has PRESENSE.It is timeless. This will never go out of style. The best way for me to describe the coloring is as smokey. It''s not red, but just hints at it. It has a richness, almost a luster.The colors are numerous, and beautifully marked but just the name of the color doesn''t do it justice. It needs many adjectives and is still elusive. The possibilities are endless.VERY earthy. You can mix it up,but it stands on it''s own effortlessly.

The necklace does not look like its photo. It is a small, light-weight necklace with a small, thin pendant that, in color, is a combination of light grey and light reddish-brown. It is not as "red" as red jasper. HSN could prevent these problems if they had photos of several necklaces for each item to illustrate the range of possible colors.

MINE IS UGLY !THE PENDANT WAS SPLIT IN HALF ;CLOUDY DULL GREY. FADED REDISH BROWN.BEADS WERE DULL,FLAT, REDISH BROWN.LOOKED LIKE A SMALLER VERSION OF THE RED JASPER.I LOVE MAUVE & GREY BUT THIS WAS NOT IT.IT WAS ALSO STRUNG ON CHEAP PLASTIC THREAD!SHIRLEY FROM AMARILLO,TX

I am enjoying this necklace so much. It is so feminine and has such neat colors. It is not huge, but has a nice presence. Just the right thing when I want to add interest and a conversation piece to my outfits.
