Bought the ring to see if it go well with my Judith Ripka stack rings and it does. It is substancial, the color of the stones is rich and the price is excelent. I like the design.

I think the prongs are part of the design and do not take away from this ring at all. I love this ring, the stones are clear and bright.

Why so much prong?

Love the look of this ring, but the size of the prongs are just unnecessary and too noticeable, especially on the amethyst stones since they are so small. I''m still debating whether to keep it or not because I do love the ring itself, but hate the long prongs.

This ring has great presence. The stone are clear; the citrine is a very pretty, bright yellow and the amethysts a nice medium purple. The squared-off band fits true to size and is comfortable. The silverwork and touch of gold are also nice. The problem is the prongs. I could have lived with their largeness but they are not "pressed down" onto the stones; they stick up and catch on everything. Sent it back.

Unique design, lovely citrine; however, two prongs broke and stone lost on second wearing. Real disappointment!
