This is a beautiful necklace that is loaded with richly-colored stones. The triple strands are substantial yet comfortable and of a versatile length. The irregular shape of the highly polished unfaceted stones adds texture and dimension. This could easily become a signature piece for me.

Everytime I saw this online I kept thinking, why did they knot/gather the strands together on the sides? I finally got it in spite of the "knots" because I wanted a large amethyst necklace (I heard Jay estimate that was around 500 carats!) When I opened the box I thought I had been sent the wrong necklace! NO KNOTS... finally just realized it was just me; oh well, I''m a happy camper!

When I first saw this, I didn''t buy, thinking the stones would be that washed out color that you see in beads at this price. When I saw a review describibg the stones as dark, I bought and have I been pleased! The stones are that dark rich african color that is even hard to find in rings these days. The necklace is typical Jay King, large and chunky, and a favorite. This is a great price for this beautiful necklace. I couldn''t recommend it more!
