This cameo in one word, is very LOVELY. I had my reservations because I didn''t want a cheap looking cameo. But I must say, this cameo in person it really is very classy and expensive looking Also picutre doesn''t do justice. On the website picture, lady on the cameo looks faded out. But when I got it, you can see the detail of each of her hair curls and the outline of lady was very defined. Overall, I was very happy with this purchase and will be wearing it a lot.

I''ve several Italian cameos (M & M''s among others). This is a noticable change from your "typical" cameo interpretation. At first I didn''t think I liked such a simple looking woman. But the more I admired it and the matching ring and earrings, I always would feel she could have been an antique from my Granny''s jewelry box. It almost has a hand rubbed worn look in the smooth shoulder and neckline area. She really has a lovely face, and you can''t beat the price!

I received my pendant yesterday and immediately put it on. It is so nice and expensive looking, there is no way anyone would think it is faux. This is definitely a special addition to my jewelry collection and will be one of the most treasured. I own a lot of jewelry but this one is unique, right up there with my tahitian pearls. So this piece along with the earrings and ring I purchased, will have it''s own special place.
