Not strung properly / JFL, CA5/20/2008 The pearls were very pretty and lustrous on first glance; however, I did not take the time to examine them properly because they were strung and knotted too tightly, making the necklace not lay smoothly on the neckline (there are kinks). The only cure for this is restringing, which is expensive. So even if the pearls are wonderful, the necklace is defective and not worth keeping, in my opinion.
Gravely disappointed...5/15/2008 The individual pearls had so many flaws that it was unbearable. The color was dull and the luster was almost non-existent. I ordered this along with a pair of grade A 7mm-7.5mm earrings, and the earrings were close to perfect but the necklace did not have the same quality. It went back as soon as it was delivered to my house. The earrings I kept.
