Overall a pretty strand / Pat, MD4/18/2007 ...but, I have mixed feelins about keeping this one at the full price. The overall effect of the paltinum color is pretty, but ewhen you inspect each pearl, not a single one of them is a solid color. Each and everyone appears to be a mottling of white and grey. Very strange. I have never seen pearls like this.
ITEM IS GOING BACK / Carlisle, WA1/22/2007 According to the previous reviews this item is excellent. Guess I was not the luck one as the color in the strand I received was very uneven. Being in the jewelry industry they are very poor quality and were not matched at all. Item is going back immediately.
MAKE THE DEAL12/7/2006 In November 2004, I purchased this strand (same description - different item #). I loved them. Then I spent an afternoon with my pearls and visited at least 10 jewelry stores in Central FL, both the usual mall and independent places. About 80% said they had no vendor from whom to order this size and color, and the others quoted prices starting at $1900 and a 6-12 month wait. My pearls and I went home and are still enjoying each other.
