Even at a clearance price, this ring was so poor I had to return it. The stone quality was terrible - cloudy, pale, didn't change color like Alexandrite is supposed to. It did change, but not like real Alexandrite should. Quality control may need to be more educated on the properties of the merchandise so they don't just pass it through as good just because there aren't bent bands or missing stones.

this ring is very petite but its real cute on mine the color change is great. Not recommended if you like big beutiful rings but if you like a small vintage looking ring this is a good choice.

I bought one of these rings, and 2 of the diamonds fell out on the first wearing. I bought a second one and again the diamonds fell out the first time I wore it. Take your chances ladies. I don't know if it is worth it, as I sent both back for refunds and wouldn't buy this again.

I just got my ring today in the mail and it came very quickly. I was so excited to take it out of the box as it's my first gemstone, coincidentally also my birthstone. I was also looking for something I could wear everyday. Well- I was so happy to receive this ring!!!!! It is pretty and the color change is so fun. I wear it on my middle finger and it will definitely be a 'wear everyday' ring. I will write back if anything goes wrong as far as stones falling out, etc. as I noticed some reviews that mentioned that. But upon first look- I absolutely love the aesthetics of this ring. So pretty- cannot stop staring at it!!!

I just received my ring and I know it is real
Alexandrite. Most jewelery sales people
are not gemologist. They don't know what they
are taking about and have to send jewelry out
for appraisals. I know jewelry by working as
a quality control person at a manufaturing co.
I usually know more than they know. I am
happy to have my ring. It is small, but makes
a big statement. It is so sweet and has that
color changing personality. Thanks HSN for
brining this one into your collection.

Boosted by rhodium, pavé-set, full-cut round diamonds (approx. 1 to 1.25mm) serenade the piece's cluster of prong-set, round Indian Alexandrites (approx. 2.5mm). The alexandrites twinkle a green hue beneath daylight or fluorescent light, and sparkle a red hue beneath candlelight or incandescent light.

Note: These diamonds are graded at IJ color (color slightly distinguishable to the trained eye) and I2 clarity (inclusions can be seen under magnification and, in some cases, to the human eye).
