I was not real impressed by the setting overall. I thought it too much of a margin around the stones, for just plain metal. If there had been, say, white topaz, it would have been much better. Also, it sits higher than I had initially envisioned.

I am keeping the ring, because I love the stones and their colors. But I'd work on the setting for sure!

I find it hard to believe that this ring is actually a customer pick. On the ring I received there is an outside ring of stones that are a purple color. The rest of the stones are clear. The silver of the setting is thin and light weight. My ring hardly resembles the picture of this ring and is going back today.

Now this ring rocks. The iolites are gorgeous. The tanzanites contrast the iolits so well. The tanzanites are a nice shade of violet and shimmer and shine. There is also a lot of silver in this ring. It was a great buy and a winner
