The other stone I received today besides the rose topaz/quartz, which I already reviewed, is this London Blue Topaz. I know blue topazes are pretty common and pretty cheap as gems go, that they are named according to the depth of color and the London Blue is the darkest. I'm happy to be able to say my Blue Topaz's color is even more vivid - and has a touch of teal - than what is shown in the photo. It's so clear and sparkling. The emerald cut is just about my favorite cut because of its classic, streamlined elegance. I am glad I didn't have to give a negative review here. Much prefer being able to praise an item when it's indeed praiseworthy. This elegant stone is just the right size to be made into a ring. Btw. no traces of gray in my stone.
