The gem is not as purple as pictured on-line--more pinkish. However, I bought it with the Pendant, and the colors match each other, so it works for me! Enjoy.

These are nice. They are not as "substantial" as they look on the picture. They are a French wire/shepard's hook that does not come with a rubber "stopper", but trust me use one! I lost one of my earrings the first time I wore it. This the turtle next or jacket I was wearing working it clean off my ear. Now I'm trying to decide if they're worth re-buying. )-:
