This was a christmas gift and I am enjoying a lot. The facets are sparkley, the necklace has a nice weight to it and is unique.

MINE HAD WHITE CHALKY CHIPS ON SEVERAL BEADS. IT WAS MORE OF A BROWNISH-PURPLE GARNET COLOR AND NOT THE PATRIOTIC RUBY-RED SHOWN IN THE PRESENTATION. RETURNED IT FOR AN EXCHANGE HOPING FOR A BETTER NECKLACE.

sorry I really liked this necklace but I got a defeated one that was chiped on several of the beads. I thought maybe they had trouble getting this one out as it was a special. So I sent it back as it wasn't good enough to give as a gift. Sorry
