I, too, received a "dud" with this pearl strand. The rings around the pearls, the pits, poor lustre, asymmetry and off-center drillings of the holes were beyond disappointing. I had them back in the mail within an hour of receiving them.

I purchased these pearls over a year ago and was immediately impressed with their size. The irregularities in the individual pearls was somewhat noticeable to me, but I always get complements and stares when I wear this fabulous strand of pearls. I feel like Wilma Flintstone with her giant pearls. I would recommend buying them to anyone. I always tell people where I bought my pearls and I mention easy pay.

My husband bought these pearls for me for our 21st anniversary. I love them! It's all I can do not to wear them to bed at night! Although the surface of the pearls has some flaws (very tiny) this is, by far, the most glamorous necklace I own. Think 1940's Hollywood glamour! Believe me, you'll feel like a star!

I received my pearls today and they are beautiful. I debated for a long time to buy them due to the negative review they received. These are, after all, FRESHWATER PEARLS and they will not be as round and perfect as the saltwater pearls. I would recommend these to any one. I disagree with the negative review before this one. My pearls have a few places on them, but after all, they are natural and not manmade, therefore, they will not be perfect. If HSN had them in black, pink, or most any other color, I would buy them, too. I say great job, HSN!!!!

Extremely Disappointing!

I received these pearls yesterday and just returned from mailing them back. For round pearls, they are very irregular in shape and do not lay nicely. They are covered with blemishes, scratches, pits, dents and holes. Lustre is virtually non-existent. The large center pearl, which is the focal point of a graduated strand, has a hole/pit/dent large enough to be seen from at least 2 feet away! After reading the first testimonial, I was very excited to order and receive them. Unfortunately, the only thing "amazing" about the strand I received was that they made it past any form of quality assurance inspection! Perhaps some strands are nicer than others. I certainly received a DUD and am unable to recommend them to anyone else.
