I ordered a size 7, which I had to exchange for a size 6. The ring I returned was a deeper shade of green than the one I received in exchange. However, they each are beautiful. The shank is different than any of the shanks of all the rings I own. It made be a bit hesitant, but it is very stunning. The smaller size keeps the ring firmly in place: it is not top heavy. This is my first piece of Prasiolite, and I am very pleased.

And I ended up loving it when I opened the box. The stone is amazingly cut and a beautiful pale green color. It is a little top heavy but I wore it all day to work and just kept staring it at it so much that, apparently, its top-heaviness didn't bother me. When my mom first saw it she said, "Wow, that's a honker", then she looked at it again and said,"That's pretty", then grabbed my hand and said, "Yeah, that's REALLY pretty'". My husband is always asking me when I'm going to wear it again and he does not get into jewelry at all. Get it if you don't mind being noticed.
